christopher is best known as a cellist to a varying list of bands, singer/songwriters, film makers, composers, improvisers and noisers.

he is also a singer & multi-instrumentalist as well as producer, engineer and video maker.

christopher leads a band called sad companion. he sings and plays guitar (and some cello) and is joined by christina courtin, ryan scott, frank locrasto, jake silver and bill campbell

he is a proud member of Henry Threadgill's Zooid
he plays in a band with his brothers called Needers & Givers
and plays in Michael Pitt's Pagoda
